ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

LabVIEW provides the state-of-the-art way to effectively teach and learn basic and advanced engineering concepts using a graphical programming platform. Nowadays engineers and scientists rely on LabVIEW for a variety of applications: test and measurement, process control and automation, monitoring and simulation. The objective of faculty development program is to present theoretical and practical concepts and hands-on in LabVIEW intended to teach participants tools of LabVIEW with an emphasis on various applications.

This Faculty Development Programme will introduce the fundamental principles of graphical system design using NI LabVIEW. Hands on training with NI hardware will also be given to the participants. The experts from NI, Bangalore will conduct the training sessions.

RESOURCE PERSONS:

Experts from National Instruments, Bangalore and Embedded Systems Solutions Pvt Ltd, Bangalore.

TARGET PARTICIPANTS:

  • Faculty members doing research in engineering colleges approved by AICTE.
  • Candidates Working in industrial/ research organizations.

REGISTRATION FEE

ABOUT ECE DEPARTMENT:

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is established in 2002. Beginning with an intake of 60, the intake was increased to 120 students by 2008. The Department also conducts post- graduate programmes in VLSI & Embedded Systems from the year 2011 and Communication Engineering from the year 2013. The Department has highly qualified and motivated academic faculty having extensive teaching / research experience and have several International / National Journal and conference publications to their credit. Every year, the department organizes National level Technical Symposium / National Conference/ Workshop to promote closer interaction between academic and research scholars.
