FAE – Embedded Systems
Job Description: Field Application Engineer for supporting pre-sales and post-sales activities of ESS’s Products Portfolio which includes various Embedded Tools and Solutions.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Pune
Educational Qualification:  B. E, B.Tech, M.Sc, M.S, M.E, M.Tech (Embedded Systems /Electronics/ Communication/ Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Computer Science).
  • Good Knowledge of more than one type of 8/16/32/ 64 - bit processors architecture.
  • Good programming knowledge in C, C++ and Assembly languages.
  • Good Understanding of Embedded Software Development.
  • Good Understanding of RTOS and Real-time embedded systems development.
  • Good Understanding of Embedded Linux operating system and BSPs.
  • Understanding of boot- loaders.
  • Understanding of debugging, tracing tools and test and measurement tools.
  • Self- motivated and disciplined.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple groups at different locations.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites to help on solving customer problems.
  • Experience with KEIL ARM TOOLS, SEGGER, TASKING and other leading embedded development tools.
  • Experience on conducting or presenting at embedded workshops and trainings.
  • In depth knowledge any or all of these:
    • Intel/ARM Architectures.
    • Embedded Linux/ RT-Linux and board support packages(BSP).
    • RTOS and Embedded Middleware.
    • Debugging concepts and methodologies.
