Embedded Development Tools Sales Manager
Department: Technical Sales
Product Line: Embedded Development Tools
Location: Bangalore
Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering
Profile: Embedded Development Tools Sales Manager to Lead and Run the Embedded Systems Development Tools Business Unit at ESA Group as a strategic business unit (SBU) to achieve the Business Objectives of our Principal Partners, the Embedded Systems Development Tools SBU and ESA.
Candidates having worked in ARM DS-5, Keil MDK, IAR Development Tools, SEGGER Development Tools, WIND RIVER, Nucleus, GreenHills, QNX or any other leading Embedded Systems development tools brands or their authorized distributors are preferred.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Business Development
    • Identify and Create New market Opportunities
    • Build, Sustain and Upload long term Relationship with Key & Strategic customers
  • Should Strategically Interface with Principal(s)/Partner(s).
    • Propose Business Plan
    • Build the Forecast Plan
    • Weekly Report to partner(s) on the progress made
    • Willing to Travel (with the country and overseas)
  • Must Own Committed Target Numbers to the Partner(s)
    • Completely own sales targets
    • Handle key accounts and achieve sales
    • Maintain healthy business relationships with Principal Representative(s) in India
  • Must Drive Marketing Campaigns
    • Identify suitable marketing forums
    • Propose marketing budgets for partner(s)
    • Plan and execute marketing plans
  • Should Interface and Work Seamlessly with Dedicated Technical Support Managers
    • Coordinate efforts between Technical Managers, Area Office Managers, and FAEs to achieve identified product portfolio objectives
    • Lead, co-ordinate and manage sales and technical teams to ensure full client satisfaction in both pre and post sales activities
 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in the embedded systems industry (Embedded Development Tools, RTOS and Middleware in the Embedded market)
  • Previous experience in embedded software/hardware development tools (Compilers/IDE, Debuggers, RTOS, Middleware libraries, Networking Software Stacks, UI Tools)
  • Good knowledge of Linux, RTOS, C/C++ Programming, CPU Architectures, microprocessors and microcontrollers.
  • Experience with technical sales for semiconductor vendors (ARM, ATMEL, 8051, Texas Instrument, FREESCALE, RENESAS, NXP,MSP430, ST Microelectronics)
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (MBA preferred)
